WHAT ARE DONATIONS USED FOR?
printing costs
Because online communication isn't currently a possibility for those housed in Utah's correctional facilities, all communication with those incarcerated has to be done through the mail. The cost for printing newsletters, letterhead, and envelopes is substantial.
postage
The cost of stamps in order to communicate through the mail is significant and becoming prohibitive. Until communication through email becomes a possibility, donations for stamps are greatly appreciated.
One of our main goals is to help people not connected to the prison and criminal justice systems understand why reform is in everyone's best interest. In order to do that we have partnered with Ika Social, an incredible marketing firm, to help us.

Our Financial Wishlist
If we could get the funding to accomplish it, these would be our top three goals:
hire legal help
We are doing the very best we can to support those wrongfully incarcerated, but no one on our board has any legal training. If we had the funding, we would hire an attorney to help where we are unable to. So many people have been forced (think "Scared Straight") into taking a plea deal that isn't just because our public defenders are so over-worked and under-staffed. It would be wonderful to help right these injustices.

collaborate
more effectively
Since day one, no one affiliated with Paige Norton's advocacy work has ever received one penny of reimbursement or taken a stipend of any kind. Every cent of every donation has gone to support the work. If we had the funds to do it, it would be wonderful to offer a small stipend to those who have already proven their commitment to this cause.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has made sacrifices to help us reach this point. Your generosity both in time and financial support—has been invaluable and deeply appreciated. It is because of your commitment, encouragement, and willingness to give that we are able to move forward with confidence. We are truly grateful for your support and do not take it for granted.
support our help
Prior to prison and criminal justice reform advocacy, Paige developed a more effective way for those in authority to collaborate to aid in Utah's Opiate Crisis. The template Paige created could perfectly translate to prison and criminal justice reform work, but we need funding to facilitate it.
